Are you a veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces who has been struggling to get a handle of your chronic pain? You don’t have to do this alone. We can team up with you to navigate your path to recovery.

I am a registered social worker and psychotherapist specialized in pain management. I am dedicated and passionate in helping individuals overcome and recover from chronic pain. I use a biopsychosocial approach to pain assessment and treatment. In my years of treating chronic pain, I have used CBT and mindfulness-based approaches, Emotion Awareness and Expression Therapy, as well as Pain Reprocessing Therapy. I stay apprised of the latest research on the condition of chronic pain and chronic pain treatment.

In addition to working with clients on pain recovery, I am a pain educator in the science of chronic pain. As a hub team member of ECHO Ontario Chronic Pain and Opioid Stewardship Program (UHN), I help upport primary care providers in the management of patients with chronic pain, deliver educational sessions on evidence-based chronic pain assessment and treatment, provide clinical consultations and case-based recommendations. I also contribute to the Power over Pain portal and I am an instructor at the Pain Reprocessing Therapy Centre (USA) who teaches PRT in French to clinicians in Quebec and Europe.

If you’re a veteran who is interested in working together and participating in our Pain Reprocessing Therapy group for veterans, complete our Veteran Pain Program intake form. Our DPPC Veteran Pain Program team are ready to team up with you to work towards pain recovery.
