Psychological Associates are essentially psychologists with a masters level degree in psychology that is then followed by four years of supervised clinical experience working in the scope of practice of psychology. Both psychological associates and psychologists are well trained and licensed in Ontario to provide psychological services.

I am a Clinical Psychological Associate with over a decade of experience providing psychological assessment and treatment to adults. I work with a range of emotional and relational concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief, and difficulties in relationships and life transitions.

My work focuses on helping individuals develop a clearer understanding of patterns that may feel difficult to change, including emotional responses, relational dynamics, and the impact of past experiences on current functioning. Therapy offers a space to reflect on these experiences and work toward greater emotional awareness and more adaptive ways of relating to oneself and others.

I work with adults at all stages of life, with a portion of my work focusing on early adulthood, where changes in roles, relationships, and direction are often central.

I am also experienced in working with first responder populations and workers who have sustained workplace injuries and are engaging in the WSIB Community Mental Health Program.

I also work with couples, supporting partners in improving communication and working through recurring challenges in their relationship. Together, we explore relational patterns and deepen understanding of each other and the dynamics between them over time. In my work with couples, I draw from a relational psychodynamic approach and the Gottman Method.

My approach is rooted in psychodynamic and relational psychoanalytic psychotherapy. I have had intensive psychoanalytic training, including years of weekly supervision during and after my graduate studies, as well as involvement in psychoanalytic process research at Istanbul Bilgi University. In my work, I pay close attention to recurring patterns, attachment styles, emotional dynamics, and the ways past experiences shape current feelings and behaviour.

As part of my commitment to professional growth, I engage in regular consultation and training.
