Luciano (Luke) Del Gobbo

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Luke Del Gobbo is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. He is finishing his Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. As part of his training, Luke is completing his practicum placement at the Dynamic Psychotherapy & Psychology Centre. In his therapeutic practice, Luke emphasizes a collaborative approach, supporting clients on their unique journeys toward healing. He adopts a culturally sensitive and person-centred stance in therapy, ensuring his methods are tailored to individual client needs.

Luke's approach is enriched by his natural empathy and curiosity, characteristics that enhance his ability to connect with and assist his clients effectively. He has trained in various models of therapy, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), ecotherapy, and the biopsychosocial model. His diverse training background includes issues such as trauma, addictions, anxiety, and depression with flexibility and depth. His main focus for treatment at DPPC is anxiety, mood disorders, self-esteem issues, and interpersonal or relationship struggles.

Luke receives supervision from Tina Leknois, Registered Psychotherapist, to train in the art and science of applying psychodynamic principles in his work as a therapist. Luke's interventions focus on helping clients understand and resolve problematic patterns and symptoms at the core of their problems.
